King Eider / Eider à Tête grise (Somateria spectabilis)

The King Eider is a large sea duck with a pale blue crown and orange bill shield in males, found in Arctic regions. The vibrant purple colour background adds a playful, modern twist to a traditional medium.
Each painting is made from watercolour, sometimes with coloured pencils or gouache accents. The block coloured background is later painted with acrylic paint and is destined to add vibrant colour in our homes!
For all made-to-order, please expect 1 month delay, as I need to have multiple orders before sending to print.
