The Great crested grebe is a waterbird with white face, dark head plumes, and chestnut and black breeding crests, found on lakes across Europe and Asia. The mint green background offers a soft, refreshing backdrop, giving the artwork a gentle, natural feel.
Each painting is made from watercolour, sometimes with coloured pencils or gouache accents. The block coloured background is later painted with acrylic paint and is destined to add vibrant colour in our homes!
